A grassroots non-profit rooted in the Kilimanjaro Region

Livelihoods and Nature Solutions (LNS) is a grassroots non-profit organization based in the Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania.

Founded in 2024, LNS grew from local initiatives focused on education and environmental restoration. Today, we partner with schools, local communities, and international NGOs to design and deliver projects that are practical, transparent, and long-lasting.

We see development as a shared process — one that begins with local voices and grows through collaboration.

🌿

Environmental Protection & Restoration

We empower communities to protect their ecosystems through tree planting, soil conservation, and education on climate-resilient land use.

📚

Education & Health Promotion

We help schools build safe, healthy, and inclusive environments for learning — including clean-energy kitchens, hygiene training, and nutrition programs.

💧

Improving Daily Living Conditions

By increasing access to clean water, renewable energy, and sanitation, we help families meet their basic needs while building resilience.

🌱

Sustainable Income Solutions

We support innovative, eco-friendly local businesses and teach sustainable agriculture practices that help people earn a living without harming their environment.

🤝

Good Governance & Participation

Transparency, accountability, and participation are at the heart of every project. LNS works with local authorities and school committees to strengthen community ownership.
